You can read the current position regarding our opposition to the proposal in the news section. If you would like to join the Save Our Botanics organisation, please download the Join Us form from the documents page, fill it up, and post it in, or scan it and email it (see contact us page.) An important part of the objects of SOB is to raise funds to support any legal action that might be taken, and to pay for advertising and publications, for example the printing of leaflets and posters. In seeking to stop the G1 Group development, SOB is taking on a local authority with a budget of £2.2 billion, and a PLC with a turnover of £32 million (March 2006 results.) SOB has no income at all other than what it receives by way of donations, and profit from the sale of merchandise. If you would like to donate to the campaign please visit the how to donate page. If you have any questions or enquiries, or if you are from the press and require information, please visit the contact us page. |
